2009 Reflection
Happy New Year Everyone!
The Hamori family had a good year! Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.
We lost a family member, added a few friends, and tried hard to build on the relationships that already exist. Our family and close friends are so important. It's funny how perspective comes with change, and cherishing the people that can actually stand you for a length of time! I personally thank you.
This year was full of milestones! Daniel started Grade 1 in the fall with his awesome teacher Miss Hu. Daniel tried out soccer over at the White Rock recreation centre, learned to ski on our Christmas vacation in Leavenworth and continues his love of drawing.
Angelina is still in Buena Vista Montessori preschool for her second year with her new teacher Bree, and she's flourishing in her special environment, learning to read and write. Angelina is in her second year of Ballet at Essence School of Dance, with her teacher Talia. She worships her teachers both here and at school, and masters the art of mimicking. Her biggest interest is the mirror, spending hours combing her hair, putting on lip gloss and changing her clothes. She did not get this from me!
My newest and most engrossing pass time has been my involvement in Daniel's school. Through the PAC and the SMS non-profit which runs out of there. The Surrey Montessori Society has become a passion of mine, and I hope we get the new school set up beautifully in 2011.
Our Xango business has been something we slowly move towards. I love the product the rest is just gravy! Continuing our quest for health, with our new sunlight sauna, life style choices including organic foods, and loads of outdoor activities, I wish 2010 is full of health and mental well being for our little family.
Alfonz continues his new hobby mountain biking and his old one motor cross, as well as swimming and workouts at the rec centre, my husband has transformed himself in a very short period of time. Hot bugger! He also has become quite a cook over the past year, creating beautiful healthy meals for us! Good job man!
On behalf of our little family Happy New Year!
That's Hamori
